USDA Rural Development TN Announces Ample 2014-15 Grant Funds

The REAP program will also be accepting grant proposals in October 2014 and in April 2015. Almost $2.5 has been allocated to Tennessee for FY2015! Proposals that aren’t succesful this summer can be rolled over and considered later in the fall, so rural and agricultural small businesses have every reason to go ahead and apply for the REAP grant now. TVA GPP Still Open & REAP Grants Due in May

APPLY FOR 2015 GRANTS As of mid-March, TVA’s Green Power Providers program still has approximately 1 Megawatt of capacity open for residential applicants interested in generating their own renewable energy. The program provides a $1000 rebate for renewable energy projects and a 20-year contract with TVA. Learn more about the GPP program here, contact us or visit TVA’s program site. There’s still time left to apply– TVA is accepting applications from residential applicatants on a first-come, first-served basis! For rural and/or small agricultural businesses, the USDA Rural Energy for America Program is accepting grant applications until July 7, 2014. USDA REAP grants can cover up to 25% of renewable energy or energy efficiency projects for businesses.
